He was then sent to earth by his father when the planet Krypton was under threat. On reaching earth, he was found in a farmhouse in Smallville, Kansas by a couple who adopted him and named him Clark Kent. The Kents had given him the name and raised him as their son. He looked human to them and they thought he was just the prey of a harsh experiment of which at that time they had not discovered his special powers. While the boy was growing up, he was confused by his superpower abilities. However, it was these powers, his protective instinct and moral sense that drove him to become the hero he is, protecting those in danger.
